Electrical for ADUs
Our Full Service Electrical Approach
We work with ADU builders to plan, size, and install power for accessory dwelling units (ADUs). We can determine if a 100-amp or 125-amp subpanel is sufficient, or if a full 200-amp main service panel is better for supporting heavy loads like HVAC, electric appliances, solar, and ev chargers. ADU builders rely on us, a licensed electrical contractor, to perform load calculations, rough electrical, install GFCU outlets, lighting fixtures, install dedicated circuits for refrigerators, stoves, microwaves. We also coordinate with city permit offices and SDGE for permits and inspections.
Smith Electrical Contractors, Inc. is a name you can trust. We've been serving San Diego County since 2006 and look forward to working with you on your ADU project.
